About the company: Our client is a privately owned company who have been established for over twenty five years and have a current turnover in excess of $220 million. They undertake a diverse range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects including bulk earthworks, land development, pipelines, roadworks and structural concrete. Employing quality civil engineering professionals from all over the world has enabled them to achieve their current success, and with a strong portfolio of works already secured and more growth planned for the future, this is an exciting company to get involved with. To date they have successfully delivered projects in excess of $900 million.
About the Role: Our client is seeking Project Managers to work on civil engineering projects predominately in the Western Australia region with typical values of between $1 and $100 million. Your duties will include reporting to the Construction manager and managing the construction team – consisting of Project Engineer, Contracts Administrator, General Foreman etc, on a daily basis.
About the Requirements:
10+ years knowledge of the civils construction industry with a number spent as a Project Manager
Preferably degree qualified
A proven track record of successfully delivering projects
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Self motivation
Flexibility to work on a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) system
Strong commercial awareness
Good computer skills
