With a wealth of expertise gained from continual delivery of high profile projects, they are now able to provide complex geotechnical engineering solutions to the civil, commercial, residential and government sectors in Australia. About the Roles: Our client is seeking a number of Project Engineers from a Piling background to work on a number of multi million pound piling projects across Australia. Projects include bored, driven, marine, CFA, displacement piles, blind shaft sinking, retention systems, diaphragm walls and sheet piling. The role will entail getting involved in projects from the design stage, to the initial set up of the project through to the daily supervision of works on site. You will be responsible for the allocation of labour, plant and machinery and dependant on the size of the projects may be responsible for multiple sites at any given time.
About the Requirements: These are challenging roles that will suit individuals who have worked for a number of years within the geotechnical/piling sector. You will require an overall knowledge of the construction process from the design stage to completion of the project. Strong leadership skills are required as you will be responsible for the daily supervision of labour and subcontractors on site. You will be computer literate, be able to keep accurate site records and will be required to liaise with other departments within the company as well as attend regular update meetings with the client. A solid understanding of project costs/budgets is also advantageous.
