JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of the Senior Solution Consultant is to work with the Direct Sales team within the Australia/New Zealand region and with Product Marketing to accelerate the sales of Quadrem global solutions.
The role will require:
Being a good listener and being able to translate business requirements into building a Quadrem solution for the services and products being offered.
Being able to demonstrate and /present solutions
Understanding business processes and gathering and analyzing requirements and
Responding to Request for Information/Request for Proposal building for delivery of commercial solutions that span multiple marketplace applications/products and services.
The role will support the Direct Sales team for both new and existing accounts within Australia/New Zealand.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Display a communicative and consultative selling approach
Have 5 to 8 years experience in solution demos, proposal development, systems analysis
Hands on experience with e-procurement applications, SAP Materials Management, SAP SRM, Catalogues, preferred
Understanding of B2B technologies, including middleware, XML mapping standards, relational database, document transmission and client-server concepts
Ability to capture, consolidate and convert customer needs into functional requirements
Expert knowledge of HTML, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe
Excellent written communication skills with ability to organize, elaborate/summarize information, and graphically convey business and technical concepts
Effective verbal and presentation skills with strong business process, technology and executive presence in front of customer.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across functions
Willingness to travel
Creative, self-starter, team-player
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technology discipline; MBA is desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze customer needs and develop situation and requirements analysis documents
Demonstrate solution features and functionality to prospects at on-site demos with selling focus
Develop solution documentation including diagrams and process flows
Develop and provide feedback on collateral to Product Marketing
Provide customer feedback to Product Marketing to identify new value-added products and services
Manage and sustain positive customer relationship
Monitor and report on day-to-day activities, projects and metrics internally

The Senior Solution Consultant has the following key relationships:
Senior Solution Consultant Australia Role Relationship
Product Marketing Coordinate/ work with to develop solution-related sections in client proposals, and conduct solution demos
Australia Operational Team Work with to conduct solution demos, prepare proposals and resolve issues for clients. Collaborate with to understand business process, commercial and localization aspects.
Director, Solution Consulting Report to/work with to deploy Sales Support strategy and provide feedback on day-to-day activities
The chosen candidate will receive intensive training on all Quadrem tools and solutions to prepare for customer interactions. The key to success is to adapt customer needs to one or more of the Quadrem solutions. |
